Faith in the Everyday: Prayers Stitched in Every Thread

When I sit down at my embroidery machine, it’s never just about fabric and thread.
Before a single stitch is made, I take a quiet moment to pray over the piece I’m about to create.
I don’t know where each order will end up — a cozy sweatshirt for someone’s favorite chair, a tote bag that travels across states, a gift wrapped in tissue paper for a friend. But I do know this: every piece carries a prayer.
I pray for comfort — that when the person wears or uses it, they feel safe, loved, and at peace.
I pray for joy — that even in the smallest way, it brightens their day.
I pray for peace — that it serves as a reminder they are cared for, even by someone they’ve never met.
Faith for me isn’t just a Sunday thing — it’s in the everyday moments, woven into the work I do and the people I meet through it. And whether you realize it or not, when you order from me, you’re not just getting something handmade. You’re getting something prayed over, cared for, and created with intention.
It’s a quiet kind of ministry, but it’s the one I’ve been called to. And I’m grateful for every thread, every stitch, and every person it reaches.
